Prolan Viscofan eFAN Plant Based

Features

They represent an alternative to conventional 100% fossil-based plastic wrappers. Some components of fossil-based resins are replaced by other resins used in the food industry.

  • A defined amount of the composition of the envelope is of biological origin.
  • They reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the carbon footprint.
  • They are supported by the ISCC certified Mass Balance method.
  • Wide range of printing options

Prolan Viscofan eFAN recycled

Features

A novel family of single-layer or multi-layer casings made from a percentage of recycled raw material. They are not made from mechanically recycled plastics.

  • Post-consumer plastic waste is converted into virgin-grade raw materials through an advanced chemical recycling process.
  • A high percentage of the polymers used come from recycled plastic through the Mass Balance method, certified by ISCC.
  • We contribute to the transition from a linear economy with fossil-based plastic packaging to a circular economy with an increase in recycled materials.
